"Viewed from the distance of the moon, the astonishing thing about the earth . . . is that it is alive . . . Aloft, floating free beneath the moist, gleaming membrane of bright blue sky, is the rising earth, the only exuberant thing in this part of the cosmos. It has the organised, self-contained look of a live creature, full of information, marvelously skilled in handling the sun."

— Lewis Thomas, The World's Biggest Membrane

There is a functioning intelligence to life.

One Planet. One Life.

Mission

There are many issues that have helped create and continue to worsen the climate crisis: Greed is a huge one. Organized Religion is also. Ignorance. Capitalism. Racism. A deliberately neglected public education system. Health. Fossil Fuels and that industry's misinformation, misrepresentation, lies and bribes to politicians. Injustice. Inequality. Politics. Fear of change. Our view of the Universe. Economics.

We will explore these areas, and more.

It may be controversial for some. All of it will challenge the status quo.

We need to put our place in the Universe into perspective. We need to explore indigenous and First Nation's understanding of our place in Life — respect for the rights of all living creatures, the Rights of Nature. The Rights of Life.

OneplanetOnelife.com will be a perpetual 'work in progress'. Information, attitudes, understanding, obstruction and our successes are constantly changing. We are starting with bare bones. Blog posts, resources and news will be updated and added to — we want you to return often to explore.

If we want a livable environment, for all Life, it is way past time. We must act now. The immediate obstacle we have is our very own thinking — our understanding, or lack of it, of Life.

Think About It.

"The immediate obstacle we have is our very own thinking."

New blog posts, resources and news will be added regularly. We are just beginning.
